One day he meets Melinda Halliwell (who is half whitelighter) - daughter of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt - they fight at start but soon enough they figure they 're in love with each other. Matthew decides to give good a shot so he can be with Melinda. They had to go up against Mel's family so they can be together in this forbidden love.. They go through some good times and some rough times and they finally manage to be together but Mellie misses Matt when he's gone for too long.. Willa Holland as Melinda Drew Fuller as Matthew P.S.
