Melodic IDM jam built around three voices. - A double dorian arpeggio from Intellijel Metropolix drives two Doepfer VCOs, shaped through the A-142-2 and A-121s, then sent into Bastl FX Wizard with both internal and external modulation. The wet/dry movement, filter, and VCA/envelope are animated by the A-149-4, while noise Engineering Desmodus Versio adds long reverb-echo tails. The tone of those tails is also nudged by the envelope out of Battering Ram, which acts as the second voice. - The second layer comes from Battering Ram, sequenced by Bastl Kompas and modulated by Gliss 1U on decay and drive. - The third voice is Make noise Morphagene, filled with Fieldtone Weaver loops made from a kalimba. It is triggered by small ramp-up CV shapes through the XPAN VCA, using Metropolix output A and Mod Lane 1. Planar brings recorded motion to Morphagene, while EOG advances through samples. During the performance, I manually play with Metropolix trigger probability and switch FX Wizard effect starting points to reshape the sequence over time. Recorded live. Hope you enjoy the trip 🪐
