Fonterra required a Side Load Case Packer to automatically collate and load giftpack cartons of milk into a glue erected and closed case for shipping. Due to the tuck-in nature of the cartons, we couldn’t rely on a pick-and-place load option so side load was selected as the preferred load method. The solution we developed was a Side Load Casepacker with a customised collation to suit the customer’s product. The Side Load Case Packer is the perfect choice of machine when products cannot be lifted via vacuum due to the nature of the products to be loaded.
