Welcome our newest intake, Max! He tested positive for FIV (feline AIDS), so he will be staying with us until he finds his forever home. Cats like Max are no less valuable or deserving of life than any other, but finding them placements can be fairly difficult. Cats with FIV can present extra challenges for caretakers, as well as carrying a certain stigma. However, it’s often easily managed, with no noticeable symptoms ever arising.
