When you are using oil or natural fats cooking your dishes, your always come to the point when you need a strong degreaser for your pots, dishes etc.
Here's the simple recipe: convert baking soda (NaHCO3) to sodium carbonate (Na2CO3). It is as simple as "roasting" baking soda without any additions at average of 120 celsius.
Then you can use this powder to get rid of thick fat from your pots and pans instead of weak detergents.
Also it is a great help to wash out the burnt organics from outside surface of your pan: just put it in the large pot with good amount of Na2CO3 and boil for an hour or more. Your pans will be shiny again then.
Anyway, those CO2 fountains are funny.
