Night Combat Intensity - What Went Wrong for Eagles?

In this video I am leading a flight of two eagles protecting Vipers attacking ground targets in the darkness of night. It did not work out the way we wanted but it made for an intense night battle for us Eagles. What are your thoughts about the difference between day and night BVR engagements?
