In this video, I demonstrate how to find the Norton equivalent of a circuit using a purely analytical method. This approach eliminates the need to open-circuit or short-circuit sources, determine equivalent resistances for parallel or series connections, or guess the direction of current or voltage sources. In short, the solution is obtained systematically, with no handwaving arguments involved.
