O2 Plasma Tutorial

The O2 plasma machine vacuums its chamber and uses partially ionized oxygen gas to clean the surfaces of samples. This procedure is often used to clean non-metal materials prior to bonding. Important: *Always wear gloves for the procedure; *Do not touch the power or gas valves; *Vacuum after use; *No tape, except for Kapton. Procedure: 1. Vent machine [Command Menu → Cycle Off]; 2. Blow clean your sample, put them inside the machine and lock the door; 3. Set time [Setup Menu → Plasma Time]; 4. Start treatment [Command Menu → Command Plasma → Enter]; 5. Push on the door for vacuum and let go when number on the screen starts dropping down; 6. Wait for the treatment to complete and vent again to take out the slides; 7. Vacuum again to keep the machine pumped down (repeat steps 3-5, set time for 10s)
