Old Queens Splits Success?

Second check on OG queens at John's. Forgot the mics again but it's good enough. Old 8 frame...now 10 They're working well on the super I added last time but not enough to add another super. I'll likely need to add it next time tho. Top brood box was full of resources and more emergency cups. I did find larvae a couple frames in so I shut it up midway thru. I did find black pollen which is likely oriental poppies from the nearby cut flow farm. I didn't bother getting into the bottom box. Old 10 frame split Tons of bees in this hive but still not enough frames drawn to warrant a new super. Unfortunately more emergency cells again in the top brood box. Found older larvae so likely ok but I checked the bottom box to be safe. Found larvae, eggs and more emergency cells there. She's working...just worried they may be planning to replace here April 24, 2026 5:30 pm
