3rd check on OG queens at John's. Remembered the mic this time. Old 8 frame...now 10 Still working well on the super...on the fence as to whether to add so I add another super to be safe. Top brood box was full of brood, resources and more emergency/queen cups. Thankfully, I did find larvae so I still have a queen...probably. Bottom brood was also full of brood, larvae and resources. A couple queen cups but only one charged. Old 10 frame split Not nearly as many bees/drawn frames as the other so they're not ready for another super yet....likely next time. More wonky bridge comb in both the super and the brood box. Some had empty queen cups at the bottom. I scraped some of the wonky comb that was off the foundation. I'll likely smashed it all into the foundation next time. Emergency cells again in the top brood box but none charged. Tons of larvae, brood, resource as well. Tons of everything in the bottom box too. May 1, 2026 4:00 pm
