One Shelf, Different Bodies

My second project is called "One Shelf, Different Bodies". This project explores the problem of spatial fairness through different height differences. The project built the environment of the shelf through unity, and used motion capture technology to create three different height characters, medium and high, allowing them to take things on the same fixed-height shelf to perform tasks. The core concept of this project is to reveal the bias contained in the default standard body hypothesis in the digital basis. The intention of the project is not simply to show who can get what is on the shelf, but to critically reflect on why the height of the shelf is set to a certain default standard height. I prove that there is no perfect body so-called disability and advantage, which is usually constructed by recording the advantages and limitations of characters of different height in interaction (such as high height and high efficiency, but it is inconvenient in a specific situation. Although short and short, there is no risk of falling objects), which is usually constructed by spatial design and system default values. As a result, the ultimate goal is to advocate digital equity, and the individual adaptation system should turn to the system to accommodate the diversified body.
