Over the last few weeks we have looked at some closed guard options using a cross grip control. This week we are using the same control but our partner has stood up. We start by looking at a really nice omoplata sweep option using that cross grip (I use this all the time) We then move on to look at if our partner postures out of this grip how we can transition to the K Guard and then eventually the X Guard. To finish we look at some attacking options from X Guard like sweeps and one of my favourite back takes.
