Painted Illusions Panels

That's Thursday's card. :) This card began with a simple idea: I wanted to pair the Painted Illusions patterned paper with the Textured Notes dies. I chose the die that would fit three times across a standard card front and built the design from there. To keep the pattern continuous, I cut the patterned paper to 3″ × 4¼” (you could get away with a 3″ x 4″ piece) and die‑cut the three pieces right next to each other. You could simply trim the pieces with a trimmer, but I really wanted the textured edge that the die creates. I mounted the three die-cut panels onto a 3″ × 4⅛” piece of Basic White Thick cardstock, then added the entire piece to the background using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The background itself is a 4″ × 5¼” layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock, embossed with the Stone & Vine 3D folder and adhered to a matching card base. For the sentiment, I stamped a sentiment from the Banner Sayings set onto Basic White Thick cardstock using Granny Apple Green ink, then punched it out with the Three Banner Punch. I decided to place the sentiment on the right‑most patterned panel.
