Pelvic Press is a great exercise for learning and executing appropriate engagement of the core. This is exercise 2 of our STRONG 3! Look to last weeks functional fitness post for exercise 1 of our STRONG 3! Key Points 1. Lay on your back with knees bent, feet resting on the floor. 2. Inhale, belly should rise 3. As you exhale try to flatten your spine on the floor while you press/rock your pelvis back. 4. Hold this contraction of your core muscles for 3-10 seconds. 5. Repeat for 10 reps.
