Perseus, son of Zeus and Danaë, husband of Andromeda and King of Argos.
Out of all the heroes of Greek mythology, Perseus is my favorite and the favorite of many people. Not just because of Percy Jackson but because Perseus is one of the few heroes to actually get a happy ending that doesn’t end in death.
And unlike other heroes, like Achilles or Hercules, Perseus didn’t relish in killing or had anger issues that got people killed. Perseus killed when he had to or to protect others.
Perseus was the Superman of Greek mythology. Always doing the right thing and saving the lives of people he didn’t even know. A hero we should all aspire to be.
