Personalizing Fintech App Experiences Instantly Modern fintech apps require the ability to personalize user experiences instantly, without the need for app releases. By leveraging CleverTap and Digia, teams can dynamically control onboarding flows, contextual nudges, and in-app experiences in real time. Creating a Personalized Homepage Experience Initially, both users see the same homepage experience. To personalize it, follow these steps: Inside CleverTap, create a native display campaign triggered when users open the homepage. Use the "home landed" event for this campaign. Create two message variants: First Variant: Include a placement key that maps to the key used in the codebase. The view ID will be the slug of the component to display on the homepage, obtained from Digia Studio. Second Variant: Use the same placement key. For the view ID, copy the slug for the carousel component from Digia Studio. Continue and publish the campaign on CleverTap to make it live for users. Upon refreshing the app, each user receives a different personalized experience. One user sees a stories experience, while the other sees a carousel. CleverTap manages targeting and experimentation, while Digia dynamically renders the UI. Launching a Contextual Onboarding Nudge To launch a contextual onboarding nudge for the account page: Create an in-app messages campaign on CleverTap, triggered when users open the account page. Select the Digia custom code template for the message. Copy the KYC dialog component slug from Digia Studio for the view ID. Write "show dialog" for the command. Click continue and publish the campaign on CleverTap. After publishing, when users restart the app and land on the account page, the KYC reminder is shown instantly. Contextual experiences can now be launched dynamically without app releases. Updating Dialog Design Without App Code Changes To update the dialog design without changing app code: In Digia Studio, modify the component copy from two minutes to five minutes. When users restart their app, the updated design is visible. CleverTap determines when to show an experience and to which users, while Digia decides the appearance of the experience. Together, they enable fast experimentation and personalized fintech experiences, allowing for the launch of personalized fintech experiences faster without waiting for release cycles.
