PG Sragi 2014: day 1
This is the first of three videos covering my three day visit in August 2014 to Sragi. Day 1 was spent in the mill yard and features both steam and diesel locos. Other sections of the mill's railway will be covered in days 2 & 3. Six steam engines were being used: No's 5&7, 0-10-0T+T built by BMAG in 1928, were pushing loads between the truck and mill yards No12, an 0-8-0T+T built by Hartmann in 1912, was pushing loads between the truck and mill yards but was only videoed light engine on day 1. No17, an 0-8-0 built by Jung in 1911, was working in the truck yard but not videoed on day 1 No's 19&20, 0-8-0T+T built by O&K in 1921, were working empties between the mill and truck yards One diesel was also in use: No27, built by Keio in 1983, was supplying the mill with loads from the mill yard. I've previously uploaded a short video covering PG Sragi in 2014 but this is a much more comprehensive look at the mill's railway in what proved to be their last season of steam.
