This is the second of three videos covering my three day visit in August 2014 to Sragi.
I spent the day at the top end of the truck yard and between the two yards only venturing into the mill yard mid afternoon when diesel No22 left the depot. Diesel No27 had derailed and the smaller 22 was needed to help keep the mill supplied with cane. No22 was built by J Hokuriku in 1976.
The same six steam engines I'd seen on day 1, No's 5, 7, 12, 17, 19 & 20, were again in use.
I've previously uploaded a short video covering PG Sragi in 2014 but this is a much more comprehensive look at the mill's railway in what proved to be their last season of steam.
