Description In this video, we begin working inside the Quotation Module of the Maxis Web System, focusing on the General Tab where a new quotation is created and its core settings are defined. The Quotation module is the main working area where travel programs are built, priced, and finalized. The system automatically pulls data from different modules including Rates, Routes, Visits, and Defaults, helping users generate quotations quickly while reducing manual work and errors. In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to create a new quotation by entering the group details, selecting the requesting agent, defining currency and travel dates, and configuring internal notes and operational information. We also explain how quotation classifications are defined, including segment, department, reservation type, program type, and group categories. Finally, we introduce the available quotation pricing methods: Accurate, General Dynamic, and General Manual, which determine how the system calculates travel prices.
