FROM THE ARCHIVE: Since meeting on a flight to Mallorca almost 20 years ago, Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan have risen to become one of the most recognisable, influential duos in modern techno. Over the course of their career, they’ve dropped tracks on many of the scene’s most important labels, from Drumcode to Soma to Cocoon. In 2016, Computer Music visited the pair in their studio to watch them break down their creative process and how they work together. To round out 2024, we're delving into our archive to release some classic studio sessions publicly in full for the first time. This video originally appeared as part of the download content accompanying Computer Music magazine issue 230 in 2016. *These 'From The Archive' videos are drawn from our back catalogue of Future Music and Computer Music covermount DVDs. Due to age and the original source, video quality can be a little variable. Our aim with publishing these online is to make available videos that would otherwise be difficult to get hold of since the magazines ceased print publication.
