Demo of a very quick way to form small amounts of metal. Let's say you need to reshank a small ring in 14K yellow gold but don't have the sizing stock on hand. You don't want to take the time to make a big piece of stock so you "pinch a loaf" of metal which you can quickly continue processing in your rolling mill to consistent stock size.
