Please check out my Etsy shop and my WeBeWeave Facebook page! Thank you! In this video I explain how I make my centers and how I would like to collaborate with my buyers on what they would like to see more of. These are also called bases, bottoms, I refer to them as bases because they hold something. I can make these with or without the drilled holes. I cater and supply to other pine needle coiling artists and beginners. If there is anything specifically you would like to see a video on, please feel free to leave me a comment and I will do my best. Pineneedle coilers fall under the title of weavers since it’s so close to what weavers do which is making baskets. But we also do wall hangings and many other things like Christmas ornaments. It’s endless with what you can do with Pine Needles. I prefer using longleaf pine needles because that’s what is have available to me. However if you have Pineneedles 5 inches or longer you can create almost anything you see or vision. If you are currently a Pine Needles Coiler or Basket Maker and you are looking for a fantastic group to join on Facebook, I suggest The Art of Pine Needle Basketry. If you are a beginner or would like to learn the stitches, I can suggest a wonderful book called, “Coiled Pine Needle Basketry Stitch List” by Nancy McKeown. YouTube has many videos to learn how to start a basket. I love the videos by Carol Busto! There’s so many talented Coilers, Teachers and classes available that it won’t take you long to become very addicted to Pine Needle Coiling! Enjoy and please Like and Share!!
