From Denver take 285 S to Pine junction: 40 miles, Turn Left on Pine Valley Road: 5 miles, Turn Right on Crystal Lake Road: 2 miles ( all roads are paved). Pine Valley Ranch have 3 big parking lots out of 3 one lot is dedicated to oversized vehicle. Pine valley road is downhill and single lane road with some twist and turns. North Fork of S Platte Rivers cuts through park. Rest rooms and picnic huts are available. The shortest loop is Park view- Strawberry Jack - Lake loop, 3 miles with elevation gain of 492’ bike and dog friendly. If you wanna longer hike : you can go 12 miles to 20 miles max elevation gain 1500’. Partially shaded trails goes through multiple stairs and wildfire burns. Overall a very relaxing hike. I like it.
