PLEASE is the first skill in the Emotional Regulation Category. These are skills that are meant to be used every single day in order to keep you balanced and away from emotional disregulation or disturbances. PLEASE is an acronym reminding us to take care of our body in order to keep ourselves mentally and emotionally stable.
If working on all of these at once feels overwhelming, pick one at a time to focus on and then move on to the next once the first one has become a habit.
