PPI Tutorial#2 - 8255 Control Word Register

Dear All For controlling purpose, Control Word Register(CWR) is used in 8255. It is eight bit register and it is programmed by CPU of microprocessor during its write cycle. By writing the CWR, CPU of microprocessor can control the mode and behaviour of ports of 8255. In this video the significance of each bit of CWR is elaborated with examples. After watching this video, students will become familiar with the concept of CWR and will be able to frame the CWR as per the requirement of the problem.
