Prediction Lab is an interactive activity designed to help students apply concepts from developmental psychology to the analysis of children’s media. Students begin by making a prediction based on limited information (typically the title or premise of a clip or digital experience), drawing on what they have learned in class (for example, how formal features capture attention or how content aligns with developmental stages). This step surfaces their expectations before they engage with the media.
