Process Control In Simulink: An Introduction to Feedback Control

In this video lecture, we give an introduction to process control - feedback control in particular. We give an example of how cruise control works in a car and use this example to discuss process control terminology with definitions of manipulated variables, controlled variables, set points, controllers, sensors and transmitters, etc. We discuss the difference between an open loop system and a closed loop system and much more.
