Project Progress May 2026

During May a number of works have been completed, but most notably we have also progressed with the commissioning of the project facilities. The Desalination Plant is already producing water with 2 of its 4 trains, and 2 of the three pumping stations have been commissioned. In the next couple of days the third pumping station will be commissioned and we should start delivering water to the newly built reservoir towards the end of May. Also, we recently concluded commissioning of all electrical supply works. Despite this encouraging progress, many challenges still lie ahead to bring this project to successful conclusion of its construction phase. We remain confident that with the joint effort of our team at Aguas Horizonte and of our Owner's Engineer, in cooperation with our EPC Contractor, we will soon start delivering water to our customer, Codelco, to support the operations of the Radomiro Tomic, Chuquicamata and Ministro Hales mines with this critical supply.
