Here I am replacing the Laser unit of my PlayStation 2 Slim wich wouldn't read any disks. No DVD's, no CD's, no PS2 games, no PS1 games. Not even after an intense cleaning and calibration. This can be a bit difficult, because the flat-flex cable wich goes to the laser tends to slip out very easy. Also the flat flex for the motor tends to get stuck under the moving laser unit. But otherwise it's quite simple.
Now everything works again and the console is 100% operational.
