If you have a video file that is an MP4 in Canvas, in order to make sure it has captions, a captioning file needs to be uploaded and associated with the video. Today's Quick Tip shows you how to use the Files menu in Canvas to upload a captioning file.
Note, the file must be a time-stamped .srt or .vtt. A plain text file will not work. If you need assistance creating the captioning file, contact the staff captioner.
