Choreography by: Leah Chazdon Songs/Artist: Silver Lining — Mt. Joy/Intro — Black Country, New Road My piece considers the chaos that is closings and new beginnings. For my last semester in EDC (sob), I wanted to capture the fleeting feeling of change and growth within movement. Mirroring the instrumental change from my first song into my second, my piece explores how scary, surreal, and big a fresh start actually is. EDC has brought me so much warmth and positivity throughout my Emerson journey and this piece aims to encapsulate what it feels like to depart something so special. It takes a certain level of chaos to be able to take a bold and courageous step towards the future – my piece strives to embody this type of emotional and physical change.
