Even though we may not have as intense of a story line as Tyler’s, I think we all long to know if we resemble our parents, whether it’s out of love or resentment or something in between. This dance is my way of giving a voice to those feelings of wonder, confusion, longing, frustration, and many more to those who cannot articulate it in any other way than through movement. Through using the limbs those same parents share and gave to you.
