Reason I garden
This is my beautiful Mom, Lue Ann Tucker, who is now singing in the heavenly choir. God, I miss my Mom!!!!!!!!!! My Mom is the reason I garden. In springtime she would come over to the house and plant beautiful flowers for me! She began to teach me how to take care of plants. After she transitioned to her heavenly home, I started keeping the tradition of planting. My Dad, Arnold Thompson, taught me how to plant food. He started with tomatoes. My parents taught me the how to in the garden. From there I began to learn the meaning of the why we garden. Gardening provides me time to connect with God and feel closer to my Mother. I garden because it is beautiful, it is amazing, it is fascinating, it is a spiritual connection to God. The garden brings a sense of peace and joy to my heart. Gardening provides the opportunity to pour love into the earth. The earth rewards the love with beauty that reminds us of Gods love and heaven on earth. Be blessed, garden often and connect with those you love.
