Whether you work in an office, train a lot or are on your feet all day, most of us can benefit with a good back stretch. I especially enjoy this back stretch because it helps to release the tension around the rib cable so that you can improve your breathing. Once you get started with this stretch it becomes addictive. The only thing that may be uncomfortable is the foot/low squat position. I apologise if this seems difficult and would recommend trying to sit on something for support if you need to at first. Over time I hope you'll be able to go lower to really benefit from the whole stretch as tightness in certain areas in the lower body goes hand in hand with the back. When you can release them together as shown in this back stretch, you hit the jackpot! But of course, trying your best and doing what you can is important, so don't be discouraged!
