Emergency Off Button, when pressed, stops all power to system components, table and gantry motion, including generation of x-rays. The system aborts any acquisitions in progress, and data obtained prior to the abort can become corrupt or lost. The use of Emergency Off Button is on for catastrophic emergencies such as fire, flood, or earthquake.
