Resurrection
A Good Friday offering tracing the path from betrayal to crucifixion (Matthew 26–27), from the stillness of the grave (Isaiah 53:9) to the dawning hope of resurrection promised from the beginning (Genesis 3:15). This song follows Christ’s journey through suffering (Isaiah 53), sacrifice (John 19), and triumph (Matthew 28), echoing the mercy poured out at Calvary and the grace that still reaches for the lost (Ephesians 1:7). Each verse reflects the unfolding of redemption’s story— His anguish, His death, and His rising Light (John 1:5)— inviting us to kneel in awe and gratitude before the One who gave His life that we might live (John 10:11) and conquered death once for all (1 Corinthians 15:54–57). Thank you for listening to this piece of my heart. Video loops from Pixabay. While listening to this song at the river on Resurrection Sunday, a woman I’d never met before sat beside me to listen also — quietly, attentively. Her presence reminded me that this song speaks to hearts beyond my own circle. This song is for anyone who needs the hope it carries. Thank you, Gwen.
