RevFramework Status Effects — Snapshots & Time Control

May 1, 2026
3:50

This video shows how RevFramework Status Effects can snapshot active status state and control how status time advances. This is a simple single-player style demo, not a multiplayer replication system or full save framework. Covered: Quick Apply sample statuses Active status inspection Capturing lightweight status snapshots Restoring status state from remaining time Snapshot limitations Scaled, Unscaled, Paused, and Custom time modes Custom local time scaling Controller-driven time control Public API usage only Key idea: Snapshots capture a lightweight view of status state. Restore rebuilds an approximation based on remaining time. Time modes control how statuses advance. This does not restore full game state like health, position, source context, magnitude, or custom per-instance data. No hidden save system, no reflection, no magic — just explicit status state handling through the StatusEffectController.
