💰💰Rising Damp 💰💰

Thousands spent on damp proofing and limelite renovating plaster only for rising damp to occur again. Unfortunately previously a few years ago, this was surveyed by an independent damp specialist, and they never mentioned the drains. Limelite renovating plaster I find, fails miserably to deal with hygroscopic salts and damp walls. Drains / Drainage is the number one cause of rising damp. If employing an independent damp specialist remember they will not offer a damp survey report along with a specification of repair gof your builfung, as it’s something most are not insured for. They will only offer some guidance, but subject to even more paid surveys like a drain CCTV survey, leak detection, and laboratory analysis. Imagine paying for a damp survey to be told you need to spend even more money 🤷
