My wife Virginia and I where driving around when I came across this historic plaque about the old stage coach road that runs through Oxford County. We take roads for granted, seeing them as a way to get from point A to point B. But in reality roads are something more. They tie communities together, help people share ideas, and unite people with places. This plaque is out of the way and easily missed. But it tells a story about a road that started out as a First Nations Trail then became a Road. That's rather cool.
