While trying to find some local locations that were perfect spots to get some ice axe usage during the winter, a buddy and I explored a section of Mt. Greylock which had some steep rocky terrain with ropes. After plotting a spot on the map in the general area that was described to us we found the Rocky Ravine section where the ropes were. they were just under 2 miles into our hike, so after messing around there we decided to summit Greylock via the Bellows Pipe Trail.
