Paul reveals in Romans 11:5-10 how people can become spiritually blind despite God's incredible gifts. When we repeatedly reject God's truth through disobedience, our spiritual senses become dulled, and we develop what Paul calls a spirit of stupor. The very gifts God gives - His Word, moral standards, and truth - become stumbling blocks to those who reject them. However, hope remains for those who seek God with all their hearts. God promises to remove the veil and restore spiritual vision to anyone who genuinely turns to Him. Clear spiritual sight allows us to understand God's perspective, see beyond circumstances, and discern truth from deception in our world.
