RUNNING FAST A high-energy, cyberpunk-inspired music video from Solo Hands Music — exploring what it means to run through life chasing ambition, success, and the next goal. Set in a cyberpunk neon world of motion and light, Running Fast captures the endless race of modern life — always pushing forward, finding shortcuts, outpacing rivals, and still searching for meaning between the speed. This track blends driving electronic alt rock beats, neon-lit visuals, and introspective lyrics to create a cinematic vision of momentum, persistence, and the pulse of the city. The visual genre has produced a music video that is very akin to the Tron films. The people racing in the video are clearly running across a grid in a neon lit cityscape. They seamlessly transit between levels, always looking to gain an edge over each other. They are wearing Tron-like outfits – form fitting with neon highlights. While the similarity to Tron comes across well, the inspiration for the song and the music video was simply the life we all lead: you have to keep moving to get ahead. If you stop, you get run over and left behind. And, as we all know, life’s race never ends… That said, run well, pace yourself and remember breaks are allowed, so catch your breath from time to time and enjoy the life you are running to sustain! MUSIC INSIGHTS: This original song was written and produced in an alt rock genre. It has a driving beat and never stops. The harmony is a typical rock harmony as is its instrumentation. The singer has a certain grittiness to his voice – just to add to the tension of the song. This is a verse/chorus song with a bridge. The bridge offers a contrasting pause in its phrasing before the song races on to its end. VIDEO INSIGHTS: With lyrics that never really pause and are focused on running “fast”, the video never halts its action. It shows a variety of characters running the race through a cyber punk, futuristic city. All the highlights are done in bright neon. The runners transition levels and locations – often morphing themselves and their direction. The scenes are all high energy to match the song.
