Late one evening I set up a camera, hit record and just began to simply play layering the music, the notes, and flowing into wherever the music would take me. No plan to compose, no direction — only the stillness of the moment and the pure joy of the discovery of perhaps, some new music. The music that eventually became 'Heirloom' is music from multiple sessions, from this place — simple, pure inspiration captured in the moment. Often times, moments like these bring me a peace that is unmatched by anything else, so I set the camera on beside me to share one of these moments with you.
