A sad update on our project car: It suffered fatal injuries in a near head-on collision. An oncoming car crossed the center line and was on track to a nasty impact, but I managed to steer far enough to the right that it was a glancing blow. The impact spun us around and left us straddling a deep ditch. My wife and I were not hurt, the other driver was taken to the hospital. I assume she suffered a medical condition and lost control.
I've got my eye on a 94 Commemorative Edition convertible as the next project. Hope you'll be watching.
