Sample Lesson
In this video, I walk through a sample lesson on the meaning and use of “wherefore” in Romeo and Juliet, focusing on Juliet’s famous balcony speech. This mini-lesson is designed to help students understand Shakespearean language, clarify common misconceptions (“wherefore” means *why*, not *where*), and build stronger text analysis skills. I originally created this lesson as part of an application for a teaching position I’m really interested in, but since it’s been a while since I’ve posted, I thought my audience—especially fellow teachers and literature lovers—would enjoy it too. Perfect for ELA teachers, students studying Shakespeare, or anyone wanting a clearer understanding of classic literature! #romeoandjuliet #shakespeare #englishteacher #closereading #literaryanalysis #classroomideas #teachercontent #LessonDemo #teacherlife
