Travelling to China in the depths of winter never appealed so my preference was always to visit Sandaoling in warmer weather. This April 2013 trip produced reasonable video results with hard working trains, quite a bit of sun and not too much wind to distort sound quality.
Over the years I made five visits to Sandaoling: the first on my own and then four, including this one, thanks to Linesiding with John.
