Science Topic: Circular Motion and Centripetal Force

Circular motion happens when an object moves along a circular path. To keep an object moving in this path, there must be a force pulling it toward the centre of the circle. This force is called centripetal force. Without it, the object would continue in a straight line due to inertia.
