SCRS Quick Tip: Why Pre-Measuring Matters
Pre-measuring is an essential step in today’s repair process. In this video, Gary and Andy discuss how pre-measuring during early stages of the repair, like check-in, pre-wash and blueprinting, helps shops quickly identify structural movement and track how collision energy may have traveled through the vehicle. By comparing measurements to OEM specifications early in the process, teams can catch hidden damage before repairs begin. You’ll also hear how some shops are integrating pre-measuring early on every repair provides the opportunity to catch issues sooner and avoid delays later in the repair process.
