An overview of the GeoDirectory Search settings. Search field placeholder text. With this setting, you can change the placeholder text that appears in the search bar. Near field placeholder text. Similarly, this setting allows you to change the placeholder text in the near input of the search bar. Search button label. Change the search button icon to any font-awesome icon by simply entering the font-awesome class.  You can also enter any text here and it will be shown instead of an icon. Search near radius. When performing a search using a zip code or location in the near field, results will be limited to this maximum distance. Search distances. This setting determines if search distances are shown in Kilometers or Miles. Search distances short. If a distance is less than 1/10th of a Kilometer or Mile, you can set if distances will be shown in meters or feet. Search near additional. If your directory is based in one location such as "Paris". The Google API might mistake some near searches for "Paris", Texas. To prevent this, you can add "France" in this setting and it will let the Google API know to only search Paris, France.  If you are using our location manager, this setting is best left empty, the location manager will auto add limited areas. Individual word search limit. This setting allows you to exclude 1, 2 or 3 letter words from being used in the search term. For example, searching for "The Eifel Tower" could return any listing with the word "The" in the title. This setting can help prevent that.
