SensorJet | Craigco Sheep Jetters

The Craigco SensorJet is used by farmers and contractors to control flystrike, lice, and keds on ewes and lambs. The jetter is fast and efficient, it will treat ewes and lambs together and is easily moved to satellite yards. The internal V panels are self adjusting which allows for ewes and lambs to be treated together. Some of the ewes in the video had flystrike so the farmer decided to apply a generous volume of dip solution, there are 8 jets on top, these were all operating. Note that in the second part of the video, panels or hurdles were attached to the exit end of the jetter, they help to steady the flow of sheep and also because they exit in a straight line this helps to draw the next one through which is important for lambs. There are 20 jets in total, as few a 5 can be used for lambs. The Sensor Jet can be purchased with a 6.5 or 10.0 horsepower pump, contractors and large stations will go for the 10.0 hp pump.
